Legend has it that the Old Man of Storr was a giant who lived on the Isle of Skye. When he was laid to rest, his thumb remained above the ground to mark his grave. While these jutting rock formations may be just that, you can’t help but let your mind wander through the hills and imagine the giant who formed them. There’s something mystical about Scotland and the legends and history it holds. As I stood to take this photo I let myself get caught in the clouds and the legend that is the Old Man of Storr.
