Have you ever felt that something good is waiting right around the corner, but you can’t seem to get there? 

During several trips to Alsace, France, a little street kept attracting our attention. But each time, something was amiss. Scaffolding

cluttered walls, paint colors waged war with themselves, light failed to cooperate with its subjects. 

One more trip, one more try, and we finally rounded that street’s “corner.” Peaceful colors, tidy surroundings, and willing light all came together. And the alleyway’s hinted potential burst forth like the blooms and foliage running down the bricks and pouring through the shutters.
