That one tree in the field almost can be seen as an eyesore amidst what is a perfectly pruned field of lavender. I chose, however, to see it as an added beauty. Like a shepherd that watches their flock, this tree stands above and before the rows and rows of purple flora. A sentry over the bees that buzz and the plants that grow. Sometimes I think we all wish we could watch over a place just as beautiful as these lavender fields forever.
