Caribbean

I often choose which images to shoot based on whether or not I think someone else would enjoy being there as much as I was. I always shoot my happy places. Very rarely do I look back at an image and think “I wouldn’t want to be there right now”. And I hope these images can evoke that same feeling in others. With this beach and these chairs for instance, I look back now and think about how the sand felt and how clear the water was and my heart physically aches to be sitting in that very chair. And if I stare at the image long enough, I can almost feel the salt in the breeze brush my face only to be snapped back to reality…after all, life’s a beach.
